【摘要】:Moistureinconcretefloorslabsaffectstheperformanceofflooringsystemssuchasresilient,wood,andtextilefloorcoveringsandcoatings.Manufacturersofsuchsystemsgenerallyrequiremoisturetestingbeperformedbeforeinstallationofcoveringsonfloorslabsandscreeds.Themeasurementofsub-surfacecomparativemoistureconditionintheupper1.0in.(25.4mm)stratumofaconcreteslabwithanon-destructivemoisturemeterisonesuchmethod.Excessivemoistureinfloorslabsafterinstallationcancausefloorcoveringsystemfailuressuchasdelamination,bondingfailure,deteriorationoffinishflooringandcoatings,andmicrobialgrowth.1.1Thisguidefocusesonobtainingthecomparativemoistureconditionwithintheupper1.0in.(25.4mm)stratuminconcrete,gypsum,anhydritefloorslabsandscreedsforfieldtests.Duetothewidevariationofmaterialmixturesandadditivesusedinfloorslabsandscreeds,thismethodologymaynotbeappropriateforallapplications.See1.2through1.8andSection11.WhereappropriateorwhenspecifiedusefurthertestingasoutlinedinTestMethodsF1869,F2170orF2420beforeinstallingaresilientfloorcovering.1.2Thisguideisintendedforusetodetermineiftherearemoisture-relatedconditionsexistingon,orin,thefloorslabsthatcouldadverselyimpactthesuccessfulapplicationandperformanceofresilientflooringproducts.1.3Thisguidemaybeusedtoaidinthediagnosisoffailuresofinstalledresilientflooring.1.4Thisguideisintendedtobeusedinconjunctionwithmetermanufacturerx2019;soperationinstructionsandinterpretivedatawhereavailable.1.5Wherepossible,orwhenresultsneedtobequantifiedusethisstandardguidetodeterminewhereadditionaltestingsuchasTestMethodsF1869,F2170,orF2420asspecifiedtocharacterizethefloorslabandthetestareaenvironmentformoisture,humidityandtemperatureconditions.1.6Thisguidemaynotbesuitableforareasthathavesurfaceappliedmoisturemigrationsystems,curingcompoundsorcoatingsthatcannotberemovedorcleanedoffsufficientlytoallowthemoisturetomoveupwardsthroughtheslab.Forafloorslabof6in.(150mm)plusthickness,lowporosityslabs,slabswithnovaporretarderinstalled,andslabswheretheabovesurfaceenvironmentalconditionscanhaveagreaterthannormalinfluenceonthemoisturereductiongradientofthefloorslaborscreed,considerTestMethodF2170(belowsurfaceinsiturhmethod)asamoresuitabletestmethodunderthesecircumstances.1.7Thisguideisnotintendedtoprovidequantitativeresultsasabasisforacceptanceofafloorforinstallationofmoisturesensitiveflooringfinishessystems.TestMethodsF1869,F2170,orF2420providequantitativeinformationfordeterminingifmoisturelevelsarewithinspecificlimits......
