【摘要】:Thisguideissignificantinthatitaddressesthedataandinformationoptionsofeachcomponentoftheecologicalriskassessmentprocess,forbothascreeningandcomplexERA.Itoutlinesthedataandinformationoptionswhilerecognizingthatanecologicalriskassessmentmaybefocusedtoachieveaparticularstatedgoal.ThisguideisnotintendedtorepresenttheviewsoftheU.S.EnvironmentalProtectionAgency(USEPA),oranyotherregulatoryagency,ondatacollectionforecologicalriskassessment.Thisguideistobeusedbymanagers,scientists,andtechnicalstaffofcontractors,industry,governmentagencies,anduniversitiesresponsibleforconductingecologicalriskassessmentsatcontaminatedsites.Itistobeusedtoguidedatacollectionphasesoftheecologicalriskassessment.Itwillassistinthedevelopmentoftheconceptualsitemodel(seeGuideE1689)andtheidentificationofpotentialassessmentandmeasurementendpoints(seeGuideE1848).WhileitwaswrittentoassistinplanninganERA,thelistalsomaybeusedinthereviewofacompletedERA.1.1Thisguideisintendedtoassistremedialprojectteams,specificallyecologicalriskassessors,inidentifyingdataandinformationoptionsthatmaybeusedtoperformascreeningorcomplexecologicalriskassessment(ERA)atacontaminatedsite.1.2Theidentificationofdataandinformationoptionsforhumanhealthriskassessmentisoutsidethescopeofthisguide.
