【摘要】:ThispartofBS5628givesgeneralrecommendationsforthedesign,constructionandworkmanshipofmasonry,includingmaterialsandcomponentsandthemainaspectsofdesign,otherthanstructural,whichiscoveredbyBS5628-1and-2.Therecommendationsinthisstandardarebasedonexperienceofsingle-leafandcavitywallswithandwithoutinsulationwithinthecavity.Nospecificrecommendationsfortheuseofrandomrubblewallingaregiven,themethodsofconstructionandappearanceofwhichvarylocallyaccordingtotraditionalpracticeandthetypeofstoneavailable.However,generalprinciplesarelaiddowninthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotcovertheuseofnaturalstonepanelsascladdingtostructuralmasonryandsteelandconcreteframes.NOTERecommendationsabouttheuseofnaturalstonepanelsascladdingtostructuralmasonryandsteelandconcreteframesaregiveninBS8298.Thisstandardisnotnecessarilyappropriatetotherepairandrestorationofoldbuildings.Guidanceoncleaningandsurfacerepairofmasonrybuiltofnaturalstone,caststoneandbrickisgiveninBS8221.Thisstandarddoesnotnecessarilycovertheuseofproprietarysystems.Theuserisreferredtotheparticularrecommendationsofanytechnicalapprovalinthiscase.
