【摘要】:Thisstandarddescribesapneumaticpressuremethodforthedeterminationofburstingstrengthandburstingdistensionoftextilefabrics.NOTE:ENISO13938-1describesamethodusinghydraulicpressure.Themethodisapplicabletoknitted,woven,nonwovenandlaminatedfabrics.Itmaybesuitableforfabricsproducedbyothertechniques.Thetestissuitablefortestspecimensineithertheconditionedorwetstate.Fromtheavailabledatathereappearstobenosignificantdifferenceintheburstingstrengthresultsachievedusinghydraulicorpneumaticbursttesters,forpressuresupto800kPa.Thispressurerangecoversthemajorityofperformancelevelsexpectedofgeneralapparel.Forspecialitytextilesrequiringhighburstingpressures,thehydraulicapparatusismoresuitable.
