【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverspolystyrenematerials,bothcrystalandrubbermodified,suitableformoldingandextrusion.RecycledpolystyreneproductsareaddressedinSpecificationD5676.1.2Thisspecificationisintendedtobeameansofcallingoutplasticmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticsfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,theinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisspecification,andtheeconomics.1.3Thepropertiesincludedinthisspecificationarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.OtherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplicationscanbecalledoutusingthesuffixesasgiveninSection5.Note18212;ThisstandardcombineselementsfromISO1622-1-2andISO2897-1-2,butisnotequivalenttoeitherISOstandard.
