【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedspecificallyforgranularpesticideformulations.Thistestmethodhelpsprovideinformationonhealthhazardslikelytoarisefromexposuresbytheinhalationroute.Itcanbeofuseinselectingdoselevelsforchronicstudiesandforestablishingsafetycriteriaforhumanexposure.Theamountoffinesdeterminedbythismethodisameasureofpotentialinhalationandrespirationtoxicitybecausethehazardsofinhaledsolidsubstancesareinfluencedbyphysicalfactorssuchasparticlesize.1.1Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheamountandparticlesizedistributioncurveofparticleswithdiameter106micrometersorsmallerresultingfromtheattritionofgranularpesticides.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatement,seeSection8.
