【摘要】:ThispartofISO2884isoneofaseriesdealingwiththesamplingandtestingofpaints,varnishesandrelatedproducts.ItsupplementsISO2431:1993,paintsandvarnishes—Determinationofflowtimebyuseofflowcups.Itspecifiesthegeneralproceduretobefollowedindeterminingthedynamicviscosityofpaints,varnishesandrelatedproductsatarateofshearbetween9000s-1and12000s-1.Thevalueobtainedgivesinformationabouttheresistanceofferedbythematerialtobrushing,sprayingandrollercoatingduringapplication.ThemethodspecifiedinthepartofISO2884issuitableforpaintsandvarnisheswhethertheyareNewtonianinbehaviourornot.Materialscontainingdispersionsoflargeparticleswillproducespuriousresults.
