【摘要】:Thistestmethodmaybeusedforresearchanddevelopment.Italsomaybeusedforqualityassurance,providedastandardhasbeenagreeduponbetweenaproducerandauser.Foridentificationpurposes,meltingrangeshouldbesupplementedbymeasurementsofamorespecificphysicalandchemicalproperty.Thistestmethodisnotrecommendedforrubberchemicalsthatdecomposeattheirmeltingranges.ThemeltingrangeasdeterminedbyTestMethodACapillaryTubeMeltingRangeisnotrecommendedasacriterionofpurityofarubberchemical.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofthemeltingrangeofcommercialrubberprocessingchemicalseitherbyuseofcapillarymeltingpointtubesorbydifferentialscanningcalorimetry(DSC).1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
